Let me talk about Kitakata city. I live inKitakata city. I have two main points in Kitakata today.

Firstly, there are many famous foods. Oneof the famous foods is “Kitakata Ramen.” The noodles are thick and the soup hasa nice taste because the water is good. Also the rice of Fukushima is verygood. Soy sauce flavored ramen is popular. On Sundays, many tourists visit bybus. There are various ramen shops but the locals go to their favorite shops.There is also morning ramen. Several people come to eat it.

Another feature is the plants. They arebeautiful and famous. For example, cherry trees and sunflowers. Thoughsunflower fields are a little far from city but it has a great scenery. Thereare cherry trees near kitakata station. The place is called the cherry-tree-road and it is very long.

Kitakata has not only ramen, but also a lotof charms. If you have a chance, please come and visit Kitakata. Thank you.

Introduction of Nishiaizu Town

Nishiaizu-town is in Fukushima prefecture.Nishiaizu is a town about 8000 people of population. I would like to introduceabout the mascot character of Nishiaizu-town today.

The name of its character is Koyuri-chan.Otomeyuri is a motif of Nishiaizu-town and it is famous. That’s why Koyuri-chanis similar to Otemeyuri.

And it wears Japanese wooden clogs using afamous wooden paulownia. And paulownia wood is well-known product. It’s beenseveral years before Koyuri-chan was made but it’s loved by many townsmen now.

It is possible to get goods of Koyuri-chanat stores in NIshiaizu-town and at some events. The goods are notebooks andbadges and so on.

It is very pretty so everyone come and seeLilium rubellum in NIshiaizu town by all means, please.

Let me talk about Nishiaizu town. Nishiaizutown is a place where nature is very beautiful. I will introduce threerecommended spots in Nishiaizu town.

The first is, “Oyamazumi Temple”. There isa god that will grant any wish. Also, it has a popular walking course.

Secondly, “Echigoya” is recommended forlunch. Here, you can eat ramen with many vegetables. It is very delicious.

Finally, I will introduce “Rotasu-inn”.There are hot springs and accommodations. The hot spring heals your tired body.Also, there is a park near the facility. It is recommended to visitors withchildren.
